Awesome. Thanks.

Just dropped off my tips to the powder coating dude

Should have them back in a week or so...

Is your goal to make your rig look like the pro carbon special edition? That’s what mine is....

Need to black out the fog surrounds, black painted grill, engine badges, and at4 badges....

Already got the badges, need to order the grill.

Might try to get oem parts for the fog surrounds and side engine badges...

Yep, my goal is to black out some sections. The grill surround is top of my list. I think i'm going to wrap it matte black like i did my last vehicle. I just need to order the vinyl and find time to do it. Those AT4 badges look good. Where did you purchase them? I need a 6.2 badge to put on the back so some drivers behind me can show some respect ?. What can i say, i'm a badge whore, lol.

Were you going to order the factory grille in black? It's a bit expensive last i checked. There is a guy on here with a black AT4 who replaced his black grill with the chrome Denali grill. I have been trying to contact him to purchase his black grill but looks like he has gone offline.

Links to Badges - quality is very high.

Black and Red

All Black

In regards to the grill....

The ProCarbon is simply just using the painted Onyx grill... and yes the price is steep.

Onyx black grill

the only other idea i had was similar to yours..  I found a guy that took a stock denali grill, painted the gloss black, including the chrome that outlines the red GMC badge... it looks a little more aggressive

That's a sharp looking Denali. I wonder what he had to do to paint the chrome because generally, you shouldn't paint chrome as it doesn't stick very well and doesn't last. I don't think the ProCarbon uses the Onyx grill. The Onyx grill is the Elevation grill with painted surround. Look at the middle portion closely. The AT4 has 6 looping horizontal lines whiles the Onyx/Elevation grill has 3 independent horizontal slats. The factory AT4 grill is around $750 last i checked. I don't even think that comes painted.

I had high hopes with plastidip and I know how to properly apply it but after a 250 mile trip it wasn’t able to handle the heat. Inner lip has melted and bubbled up...

It’s rated to 200 degrees but the exhaust was too hot.

I could only find one of the three 7mm bolts to get the step off anyone have pictures of the three 7mm bolt on the step?
If i remember correctly they are under the pad itself. The piece with the traction groves is clipped into and the screws are under it.
