Biggest tires on stock RST? What if leveled?

I want to go up a size from stock 275/60. Either to the 275/65 or 285/60. There can’t be much clearance between the UCA and the inside of the tire with a 285 width. I was actually surprised how close it was with the stock tires. I’m thinking 1.5” leveleling kit with 275/65 is what I’ll go with. Dutch1958 can you post some pics of different angles of your setup?

I know I have a older truck than y'all but I recently bought a Red 2013 Silverado LT CCSB Z71 2wd. My neighbor has a 2020 Silverado RST with the 20 inch Gray RST wheels. He said he'll sell me the rims. I want buy them so I can get off of the ugly stock 17's the truck came with. I want to do something different than everyone else. do any of y'all know if a 35x12.50R20 would fit on the 20 inch RST wheels? I also planning on putting a 6.5 inch superlift on it so I'm not really worried about fitment.

Have a 2015 Silverado that I put a 1.5” motofab level on. I had jumped up to the 275/60/20 bf ko2s when I picked the truck up. Still love the truck, and never had any trouble with rubbing with the mud guards on. My wife just picked up the new 2021 rst. I am planning to put the same 1.5” motofab level on. She wants to keep the mud guards on. I wanted to go 275/65/20. But from what I’m reading I’m thinking I’d have better luck going 285/60/20 to have less chance of rubbing. Just want any opinions on if you figure the 285/60/20 ko2s with 1.5” will clear, thanks for any help
