Onyx Black or Red Quartz AT4

Had to drive 3.5 hours away to get my truck in red with the tech package. Next closest past that was a 9 hour drive.

This is my first "non-black" truck in 15 years.. have had several over the years. And like everyone says, when they are clean there is nothing better.

However, I went with Cajun Red on my High Country and could not be happier. Sure, I like the black... and was really tempted with a Black Denali, but the Cajun red is a nice change and much easier to keep clean. My dad always liked red or dark red trucks, so this is kind of a tribute to him, as well

Both are great colors..so good luck...

First red vehicle I have owned, after going through every shade of gray and a white nothing grabs attention like this color does IMO.

Honestly, if i were to do it again, i would probably go with the Dark Sky Metallic (i believe this is the color i'm thinking about). I love my red but i'm currently experiencing "Red Car Syndrome". It seems like every truck i see is red. I would have preferred some exclusivity. Funny enough, i think the Red Quartz is the most expensive color.

Overall, GM did an excellent job with the color selection. You really can't go wrong with any to the point where it's actually really hard to pick one.

The Pearl White is 995 option on the silverado where the cajun red is ~495. Not sure if its the same for the GMC. I feel the same way though, i love this color but i see it all the time.

Must only be for the Silverado. When i was looking at the color options, the Red Quartz was the most expensive at $595.

AGREED.....i ceramic coated mine it stays clean so so much better. I can wash it once a week or two weeks depending and it stays shining. Rain beads off and dries up as I drive...unreal.

I am honestly looking forward to the red, but i love the Carbon Black Metallic, as my 2014 Chevy Cruze was that color, and i LOVED it. It wasn't Jet black like the Onyx, but was much easier to keep clean while still being black, so i put in to change my order to that, but if i get RQT i'll be fine with it as well. I like both colors equally and it was hard deciding i know that, but seeing more of you post your red trucks makes it grow on me that much more i will say that.
