Thoughts on Painting Brake Calipers

Has anyone success on painting their calipers? I think it will looks cool but will it hold up.  Is it worth it?

Preparation is the key and use caliper paint.

Yes easy to clean with brake cleaner don’t breath unless you want to kill brain cells and get a buzz. Then use caliper paint lasted more than 70, 000 miles on my Pontiac still good when I sold it. By the way everyone does red do fusia or purple or bright green or polka dots.

Did it this weekend on 2019 Custom Trail Boss and yes I went with red to match the other red accents.

I like the red as well.

Don’t use regular spray paint - like said above if you prep correctly and use caliper paint it will last a LONG time. Your other option is to remove them, disassemble and have powder coated.

Yes I did my 2010 Silverado and 2012 Camaro with the G2 brand kits. Turned out well and held up great
