Ride height: RST vs RST Z71 vs LTZ vs LTZ Z71

Do you guys know if there are any ride height differences between the above trucks? I stopped by a dealership the other day and the RST Z71 appeared to be sitting higher than the LTZ by a couple inches, but they weren't side by side, so I couldn't tell for sure. I tried to do a little measurement on my arm for comparison, but it was a long walk. All the things I've found online show they're all the same height, but they sure didn't look like it. Thanks!

This is a great question. I have a Z71 RST on 20's, and it's a pretty tall machine. It's one of the first things I noticed when I walked up to it on the lot.

Me too.... had to change my mind on lift ideas! My tallest point was 176.5"

Anecdotal, but yesterday I parked next to my twin (but in Z71 trim) and the two trucks looked to be the exact same height. I would be surprised if there’s a measurable difference if the trucks have the same size wheels.

 

These trucks in general are just very tall!

No difference in height. The 20” wheel tires are slightly taller than the 18” wheel tires but only like 1/2”.

I don’t know. I went today and compared a little closer at a different lot. An LT 4x4 with 20” wheels was a solid 2” lower than the Z71 RST with 20” wheels. next to it. Meanwhile, an RST with 18” wheels was taller than the High Country with the 22” wheels next to it. Next time I’ll take some pictures in case I’m losing it.
