I don't think the GMC looks better.  I just came out of a Sierra.  Some say the white Silverado looks like a Stormtrooper lol. Here's what I see in the Sierra and can't get past the SIM card fenders and the big clown look.  Maybe one day I'll have a change of heart but for now, I'll stick with the Silverado.  Like econometrics said, Silverado is the best looking truck on the road.  Some may say different.  Again, my opinion. That's the beauty of a forum.

And so what if it has a Camaro look?  I think that's awesome.  If you look at the 2019 Silverado from the tailgate, the body lines and lettering resembles more of '60-'66 fleetside and the front end has some genes from the '99 Silverado. So what "old School" do you see in a Custom front end besides halogen headlights?

I apologize. Was not aware I could not have an opinion.

So when you describe what you think a front end resembles it's ok huh.I think I know you.The guy that tailgates everyone because he is way more important than others and has places to be.Yep.

It's "kool" with a k. I do however agree with your "looks like a Camaro" front end description. Until I saw the Custom front end I would not have even considered a Silverado. Not only did the Custom fit my tight budget I loved the more traditional old school Chevy truck look of the front.

I actually think the Custom front end looks better. Hopefully they put at least some of the LT interior features on the Custom in the future. I'd be all over it! They're almost there with the addition of the 6.2.

Don't let me down Chevy ?

I can pick out models that I like and don;t like of each manufacturer. I think, in general, the Nissans are the ugliest truck however I was at the dealership the other day and there was one on the showroom floor that was mean looking. I'm not a fan of the RAM redesign, but when people start modding them they look great. I wasn't a fan of the new Silverado at all until I started seeing them on the road, not I think they are great.

Point being, it's a truck by truck basis for me.

There ya go ?

I've had many new Sierras and always thought highly of them. When the '14 Sierra came out it was omg; that was the most awesome looking truck on the road. I got countless compliments on it. I don't know what Matthew Noone was thinking for the '19.  Can't even use the pro gate without bashing in your tailgate if you don't remove the hitch. How many people have done this? Terrible design. What's bad is when long time GMC salesman say that designers botched the new Sierra and aren't impressed. So many people say that not just me. Make up your mind GMC. Do you want round or rectangular fenders? The plastic trim does the design no justice either. Honestly, the grille isn't that terrible and can live with it. I guess...  Not the prettiest but "doable". Just not crazy about the shape. I do like to joke about the "clown frown" thing because of the shape lol. Anyway, if it wasn't for the hideous fender wells, I wouldn't mind have getting another Sierra but couldn't bring myself to do it. Many people say the same thing. I think the round wells without the ugly plastic trim on the Silverado looks much cleaner and better. Contours beautifully with the tires. The GMC wells just look confused and don't know how they wanna look. I surmise the Sierra sim card fenders will soon be gone.

When they first came out, I preferred the look of the Sierra. To me at the time (in pictures), it seemed more traditional and closer to its predecessor while the Silverado seemed kind of out there. However, after seeing both in person, I've decided I really don't like the Sierra that much while the Silverado has grown on me, especially as I notice similarities between it and the GMT-400. If it had less chrome, the Denali could be nice but I was not impressed by the SLEs and AT4s I've seen. It's a shame I'll probably have to get a 2020 Sierra to get the 10 speed with the 5.3.

The 2014-15 Silverado looked like a mix between a GMT400 and the square body trucks from the 80s, with a dual cowl hood.

The 2016-2018s look like a transition from the 14/15 to the 2019. It was like a halfway point.
