Fog light blackouts

The one thing which bugs me about the front end of my (and any TB) is the fact that it’s all dark EXCEPT for the bright chrome fogs. Until someone like Morimoto comes out with a black replacement, smoking is the only way to go.

 

I found these on eBay - ordered a set, figuring they were molded covers that would wrap around and hug the lights. I was wrong. It’s basically a cut out piece of tinted acrylic that is taped on with clear double sided tape. I’m not impressed by the $40 price tag for what it is, and the appearance up close is not great either. Just more of an informative post should anyone else be looking on eBay for something similar. Some may like them, some won’t.

I've always been for brighter, better performing lights, so the new ones don't bother me and I wouldn't be inclined to change them.

I like maximum performance from my lights but if that's not a concern for you and you like the look go for it.
