I don't either, never used mine and don't miss it  either. I would think one could find something more pertinent  to complain about?

It's all my fault. Really.

The one thing I was actually pissed about after the fact, was no Siriusxm. When the salesman was pairing my phone to the truck, we were also in touch with OnStar. He told me not to do the 3 month free OnStar because they would want my CC number. I was glad of that. But, during that, I also asked him how many months did I get Siriusxm for free.  He said 1 month. I said, okay cool. I didnt even think to actually turn on or try to find Siriusxm! I was indeed starry eyed.

I called back Monday and the salesman said he had no idea it didnt have Siriusxm.  But, in the end whether he really knew or not, it was my own fault. However, I very quickly got over it, as I just stream xm now.

Same here, ordered mine in July of last year before there was much info out on them and dealer didn't know either. I too got over it and don't really miss the xm. I do have the app on phone so I can stream it live if I want.

In 2014 when I first got on this site one of the big complaints was the sunglass holder being too small. Mine fit fine. I guess some people had oversized. I guess the best way to eliminate the complaints was to eliminate the holder.

That's because people will complain and bitch about everything and anything they can. What's next complain because the valve stem caps are cheap and stripped out when tightening? We have a center console, under the center console,  2 glove boxes to put stuff in. Unreal its todays world we live in now

Two glove boxes, I actually like that. I have USB cables and little parts, all of that would always find its way to the bottom of the huge glove box in my F-150 and I'd have to dig out the registration, manuals, books, CDs, skeletons from roadkills to get to the bottom so I could retrieve the little stuff. Now, the little stuff goes in the smaller glove box, it's convenient.

Little things are funny sometimes. People get used to the little things and don't mention it. When the little things are taken away, we're hearing shrill cries and threats to boycott. Unreal.

I have been getting used to the parking brake. I use it all of the time. Even that I didn't have a truck with foot brake before, from renting GM before I was pretty used to apply the parking brake at the same time as shifting to park. Now I'm pushing a button and feels strange, because there is a delay.

I do miss the HID's as well. The truck I purchased does have LED headlamps but they are not as bright or "cool" looking as the HID's. The other items you can used too. The electric transfer case is nothing new, been on trucks for 20yrs. And most vehicles are going to electric parking brakes, saves weight and less parts to wear out. Activates in seconds, just need to get used to that. Great looking truck BTW

Trim levels LT, RST and LTZ come standard with LED headlamps, other trims use halogen bulbs in a reflector. Had HID''s in my '16and they gave a decent amount of light; possibly more than the halogens but no way are they any match for the LED headlamps. White projector lamps may look cool but their shutter design has too many drawbacks in normal low beam driving. They use a single source lamp on low beam and a mechanical shutter blocks the top half of the focused lens so you do not get the full output on the road; worse there is a well defined meniscus where everything above is blackened making it easy to outrun the beams. On high the shutter raises and the lighting will go further because you are getting the full output of the bulb. But you only have two bulbs lighted at any time. Halogens may have a weaker, yellower output but can be compensated if instead of a two filament build in a single reflector, uses separate reflectors and single filament bulbs for high and low and all four remain lighted on high beam.

The LEDs on the '19 go one better....may be small focused reflectors, but uses 4 high output Cree LEDs on low beam and adds another two Crees on high beam so you have the full output of 6 focused Crees on the road on high beam. When driving unlit country roads at night the 6 light  system with 4 on low and two additional on high beats them all hands down and worth every nickel of extra cost.

And that's why the headlights on the new '19 Blazer are for crap! Test rode one at night and Chevy must be kidding with two low mounted small projectors, on an unlit dark country you are begging to wear a deer as a hood ornament. That's why they are upgrading the lighting system on the '20s too little too late for current owners, but they do look cool!

They really are incredibly good headlights.

The Custom doesn't have any center console storage, that is where I kept my sun glasses in my last truck.

You have two center console storage compartments, the Custom has none. I guess i was starry eyed as well, I didn't notice that until it was too late.

I wasn't the only one surprised by it, the salesman spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get it open. I guess mine was the first Custom they sold.

We gripe and complain because there are some things that have been in vehicles so long, it's hard to imagine that GM could do away with it, especially when they add two storage compartments to higher level trims. It probably cost GM more to stock two separate fold down backrests than the $5.00 extra the one with a storage compartment could have cost.

Other than that, I'm happy with the features the Custom has for being a low trim level. A back up camera and remote start are things my last ('02) LT didn't have.

To be honest, I never wear sunglasses so it was a non issue for me in the first place. The center console storage compartments were optional, had to get the center console for that. You referring to the middle part that folds up and down? It doesn't open?

It doesn't open, which is unbelievable in any vehicle regardless of price.

Wow. First, it was the 2-speed transfer case on 4x4's, now this.

Sunglasses fit just fine in the holder of my '16.....although Elton John might have had a problem with it.

Who lays down $40-$50K without researching all the features inside, outside and underneath the vehicle.....including checking out all the deals and promos and the owner's manual on the Chevy website? That's a formula for possible buyer's remorse.

Page 127 of the manual under storage on bench seat models states for both the arm rest and floor console "if equipped with storage" so looks like they glue them shut or cast in one piece for the lower line models. I made sure to look for every feature listed in the manual where they say "if equipped...." or "optional"

When you have 8 model levels there has to be differences between them, even a subtle difference gives GM bragging rights for their commercials and promo literature. I look at and test drove  6 variants of the upper models at 3 dealerships, including checking headlamps at night before making my selection. Told the salesmen straight out I have the money and motivation and am definitely going to buy one in the next 3 days, maybe here, maybe not but not a thing you say will influence my decision.......after the test rides, only my eyes, ears and a$$ will guide my decision.

For example, noticed they longer include lights in the visor mirrors of the RST even with all star pack and convenience I and II packages, minor point........ only time I ever used them was on the Traverse rather than flip the switch on the electronic mirror to self dimmer. No self dimming mirror available on the RST either.....but my eyes said don't go to a chromed LTZ or HC, for $55 on Amazon and 15 minutes work it will have one, ears said go for the Bose with the subwoofer in the center console and my a$$ said go for the leather 10- way buckets with center console. And now my brain says: Thank You eyes, ears and a$$.....thrilled with the combo.
