Brownstone metallic AT4?!

Has anyone seen one in brownstone yet?? I ordered an AT4 in brownstone, built over month ago and sitting in Flint. Just really curious to see what the color looks like on the truck.

Just wait until your truck is delivered. You'll appreciate it more. Sounds like it's close. As long as your not going to die, just try to wait. You're not stuck with it.

Looking forward to some pics... I think I want to go with blue sky metallic, but I'm intrigued by the brownstone.

Good evening everyone,

I'm sort of new here, been lurking for quite some time.

I've finally ordered a 2500 HD AT4 in brownstone metallic as well.

I'm a little worried that I chose the wrong color now.

Is the brownstone metallic on the 2020's different than the previous generation?

The truck pictured above in this thread is a dark brown/grey color. which is what I thought I was ordering.

The previous generation's brownstone metallic looks to be more of a tan or light brown or beige color.

Can anyone confirm that the 2020 Brownstone metallic is the "Dark Brown / grey" that I'm expecting?

Otherwise I may have to go kiss the dealers ass to get the color changed, i really don't want the light brown/beige color.

I did see what I thought was the Brownstone metallic on a 2019 sierra1500 AT4 and loved the color, but and wondering if what I saw was the right color now.

I'd appreciate any insight anyone may have for me here?

The color didn't change. It's the difference between sunny and overcast. I own a brownstone metallic truck.

I'm surprised it can be that different. They look like entirely different colors.

Best way to know for sure is to check the RPO code for the paint.

For 2020 HD's (sierra's)

NEW! Brownstone Metallic GNK

Order guide also shows :

GNK is a new colour for 2020 HD's.

GNK does not show as available on 2020 1500 sierra.

2020 Silverado 2500 RPO code GNK is called -- Oxford Brown Metallic GNK

2020 silverado 1500 does not show GNK as an available colour.

I don't have info on if this colour was offered in earlier years.

IIRC, there was a colour called Pepperdust that was a light brown and only available for a year or two

Thank gents,

I think i'll go to the dealership today and see if I can get my eyes on the color.

Although they seem to be hard to find so I may not have any luck.

Dealer said I could probably change the color on the order since it just went in a couple weeks ago

This. I believe the Chevrolet in the picture is Pepperdust. I thought that Pepperdust and the GMC version, Mineral Metallic, were the same.

Brownstone is a 2020+ color. It's not been offered until now and is a darker color.

I was just at the dealership and you are correct the "Brownstone Metallic" (GMC) and the "Oxford Brown" (Chevy) are both GNK Paint codes.

It is a very dark brown like I was hoping for. I'm gonna stick with it. Its a nice change from the white I normally go with.

The pic below is of truck with the GNK paint code. although tough to see with the sun.

Agree that Pepperdust is light sandy brown

Mineral Metallic was a one year only colour only available on 20i8 Denali's. (HD's, LD,s canyons, maybe others, but always the Denali version)

Mineral Metallic is more of a greenish/grey. (or grayish/green)

It's what I have.

RPO for Mineral Metallic is GJB
