ReadyLift AT4 and TrialBoss lift/level

Recommended Posts

Good god that was one of the worse videos I have ever watched...   "Torn boot from driving 1 mile"   come on really?

I've always been a readylift fan but jesus the guy on the left sounds like an idiot...

FWIW, plenty of guys including me have been running 2" levels w the AT4 suspension and no one is reporting issues.  My CV boot looks fine and the angle change was negligible from before and after and the block doesn't wear on the boot as said in the video...

That being said... I knew there would be a new upper control arm released at some point and although the upper angle isn't bad (unless you are doing serious offroading, you don't get the droop as shown in the video) At some point I'll buy (readylift or another brand ) new UCA w the reangled ball joint...  I did this on my 2013 2500...  level kit then added a new UCA later when available...

With the 2" level kit up front, I have 4" lift overall and then removed the 2" OEM block and added 3" block, so I have a small rake still...  I tow and never want a completely level truck..

I have a 1.5” Motofab level on my truck and have driven 10k miles plus (in 3 months, I drive 3000+ per month.) I have my local shop that installed it check it everytime I go in for an oil change or tire rotation to make sure the ball joints look good and the angles are fine. Just another attempt by a company with more expertise and knowledge than the average truck buyer to up sell you.

18” oem Trailboss wheels is there any lift kits that allow stock wheels to still be used?

Im leaning towards 6” total suspension lift.

It doesn’t look like it from what I’ve looked up so far .  Most I’ve seen you have to buy 20’s.  Sucks because I really like the 18” black oem wheels .

i'm looking to add a 1 and 1/2 in lift to the front cause i tow. probably add extra leaf springs to the back. question. aside from the UCA and ball joints issues, would moving up to a 35 or 34 inch tire not require changing the gears in the transfer case and rear end to push those larger tires? not sure factory gears wont be sluggish. but that opens another can of worms. thanks for your help in advance.

I have 35s on mine and gears/runs just like before. Only thing wrong with mine is the speedometer. Think it’s about 5mph outta the normal and slight rub on full lock backing

it is my understanding the dealer has the software to adjust that for you. for a slight nominal fee of course
