Where are these dealerships located so I can skip them?

No new truck is ever truly destroyed. Dealers will just advise the customers that their new ride was delayed in shipment, and worth the wait,  because it was one of the few chosen for extended quality assurance examination and testing to provide a long and trouble free life of ownership.

I had a really bad experience trying to buy a "new" 2018 Sierra at Jack Carter Chev in Calgary, Alberta. I won't derail this thread but, if anyone's interested, I can write up the story in the off topic section or someplace like that.

I know a guy who bought a "Used" Ram Rebel, it had 38 miles on it when he purchased it, the truck fell off the car carrier in some way, damaged front suspension, headlight, grill hood, fender, tire & wheel. The truck was titled (not sure to whom) but sold as a used vehicle and damage / repairs were disclosed. He got a killer deal on it and he's had it 2 years with no issues.

If they'd been upfront about the damage when I first went it to look at the truck instead of trying to hide it in a mound of paperwork at the close of the deal, it wouldn't have been so bad. But I also intend to keep my truck for a long time and you will eventually have issues with a repaired vehicle, no matter how good the body shop is.

Haha no way! I almost bought a 2019 from them 2 weeks ago. They were giving me a really good deal over the phone that I almost couldn't resist, but I'm waiting for the 2020 for adaptive cruise. Otherwise the deal they were giving me was like 4k better than any other dealer
