How does the truck handle TPMSs on two different trailers? (One tandem boat trailer and one tandem cargo trailer).

Is it possible to sync up for two trailers? Dependent on proximity of the trailers to the truck? (They are currently parked next to each other).

Whit

Not sure really, I only have one trailer. I am assuming that since the truck allows you to save specific trailer profiles, that it would only show you the TPMS associated with the selected profile.

Finally made my first tow. 600 miles through mixed terrain, both interstate and city traffic. Overall, I am really impressed. The truck was smooth riding, stopped well, held speed great both up and down plenty of 6 degree inclines.

This is my first diesel so not sure how it compares to others but compared to the 6.0 I was towing with, night and day difference. I felt i had more control and plenty of  pulling power. The 6.0 had me trying to game the hills or be forced to limp up the hill at 40 at 3500+ rpms.

There are a few things i noticed, 1. The invisable trailer thing is neat but it takes a calibration period to set up. It says drive a straight line for up to 60ft below 30 mph. Not sure if its camera placement or what but it took nearly a mile to calibrate. I did keep the cal next time i fired it up but lost it during a fuel stop. I could not get it to recal until I hit some traffic.

2. Found that if I hit a major bump my side mirrors would sag and I would need to readjust them. Happened several times over the 600 miles.

3. Lastl minor peeve, with a trailer arrached, when you put on a turn signal if changes the infotainment to the side mirror view. Great for changing lanes, pain when sitting at a light trying to use the nav.

Another note, if the invisable trailer view can't cal it defaults to the split screen side mirrors/rear view. I think i acutally prefer that view having been stuck with it nearly have half the trip.

I don't have one but iirc, the videos of the dash app did show that it can save settings for more than one trailer.

Presumably this includes tpms settings/pairings, trailer brake control settings, camera info etc etc

Yep, worked perfect. Pressures and temps were consistent.

thanks - also thanks for camera #- dealer couldn't find part # for 2500 -so glad your # works - he ordered one now.

it appears that the rake is not as severe as previous models on truck when empty

anymore thoughts in truck after first trip? mileage ect...

Pulled great, averaged 9-10 mpg with a 9k toy hauler. Wont say I didnt know it was there but it didnt feel like it was holding me back any. Towed both with and without the tow mode and didnt really notice a difference.

Is it possible to use more than 4 sensors at one time in the Heavy Dutys or is it limited to 4 like on the half tons? It would sure be nice to have pressure and temps on an 8 tire gooseneck.

Both 1500 and 2500 can handle 6 trailer tires (according to order guide).

The kit that can be added to a factory order is 4.

It can also be setup for more than one trailer -- assuming enough sensors are purchased.

RPO code is PTT for both 1500 and the HD's

PTT         Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors, includes set of 4 sensors. Sensor functionality requires (U1D) In-vehicle Trailering App to be ordered with the vehicle and installed by the factory. Sensors will be shipped loose with the truck and will need to be installed on trailer by customer. System is capable of monitoring up to 6 wheels. Additional or replacement sensors are available through GM Accessories
1 - Requires (ZL6) ProGrade Trailering System or (PDQ) Preferred Package.   (--  note for 2500)

1 - Requires (ZL6) ProGrade Trailering System.  (--- note for 1500)

I haven't heard or asked if more than one set of 4 extra sensors can be added to factory order
