TB Owners, what PSI?

Recommended Posts

What tire pressure you guys running at? I know my door jam says 41 cold, but at that PSI it's a little too bumpy for my taste and get too much feedback on my steering wheel.

I set them down to 37-38 cold, but not sure if this may be too low?

For those that have the 18" wheels with Duratracs, what PSI you running?

Thanks

Also 18” w/ DT tires here. Agree on 41 not being comfy. I’m running 38 now and it seems a little better but haven’t tried going lower. Will try 32 but wouldn’t that wear the tires out a lot faster and noticeably worse MPG??

That's what I was thinking too! I wanted to go down to 35 psi, but scared it may be too low considering truck calls for 41.

Hopefully someone who know tires can chime in.

I have an RST that had the 20" but I just bought some Trail Boss take offs that are being put on today. When I get it back I will be chalk testing the tires to see how low I can go and still get even tread wear. I'll update everyone after.
