BRAKE WEAR INDICATOR

Anyone had the software updated for the BRAKE WEAR INDICATOR, that is supposed to correct the DIC showing excessive brake wear? Just wondering if it is working properly, or should I say more realistically,  after having it updated?

I have.  Mine were reset several weeks ago to 100% after the software update.  Today, they show 94 front 96 rears.  I think it's better...

The dealer apparently can't find the software update for mine. They supposedly opened a TAC case up about it.

 

They seem to open a TAC case for everything, and it goes nowhere.

this is very annoying. I will end up disabling. It makes you wonder if the oil estimate is any accurate.

How many miles have you driven in those couple weeks?  Unless you've drive 2,000 - 3,000 miles I would say it's not better.

About 400 miles, or so.  Time will tell!
