Aftermarket seems a bit behind in general for the ‘19s. I’ve almost bought the GM Performance intake about 10 times now. Probably will eventually. Seems like the best option since it’s the only one that comes with a reflash to match. Paired with their exhaust it’s good for 15hp on the 6.2. Probably similar gains on the 5.3.

Am I reading this wrong? Typo? Does it really improve the 5.3L that much?

"Thanks to these additions, the AT4 Off-Road Package delivers 435 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque - increases of 15 horsepower and 9 lb-ft of torque over a Sierra equipped with a conventional 6.2L V8 engine, and 80 horsepower and 86 lb-ft of torque over Sierra AT4 models equipped with the standard 5.3L V8."

EDIT: Or is this suggesting the performance package includes a 6.2L ? heh.  Not something you get added to a 5.3L.  Wonder what just the package costs w/o the engine/transmission?

As far as I know that package isn’t it available anymore for 2020, but it was a “6.2 only” deal and the option price was sort of high as the 6.2 was rolled into it.

Nevertheless, the intake and exhaust were dealer installed on that truck, and can be added after the fact to any DFM 5.3 and 6.2. The exhaust is around $1250 online and figure another $100-200 install at the dealer. Intake is around $450.

The exhaust clearly makes up the majority of the power increase in the AT4 performance package, GM claims it alone will give a 13hp increase on the 6.2 (7hp on the 5.3). Simple math then leaves just a 2 hp increase attributed to the intake, and that hasn’t motivated me to get it yet.

Yeah, it was a typo. It should be 10 HP & 6 lb-ft torque for the 5.3 with duals.

Here's a different link.

Yeah, interesting.  That's just what showed up when I searched for performance package.  Mine's a 2019 anyway so I don't really care about the 2020's.  Seems confusing.

I'm not sure 10 (5.3) and 13 (6.2) are worth that sort of cost to be honest.  Marginal boost most won't notice other than noise I'm guessing.
