Thats true! 

You could set a bunch of other things up while they got it. 

 

If they could have made my A/C settings while using remote start, look at last used settings, I would have done it for sure!

Maybe you bought really cheap resistors?  Or didn't mount them to a heat sink?

 

I follow a number of forums, and you are literally the first post I have come across with the problem of the resistors failing regularly.

 

I've had resistors on my truck for about 2.5 years now, no sign of a problem, and it's my work truck that I drive around the city every day.

Heres what im using its 2-50w resistors in line for each light. I mounted them on a piece of aluminum. The new setup is to just use a single 100w resistor for each light. Ive had these on my truck for a long time. Zero issues.
