Torque Converter Shudder

Around 1500RPM there's a weird vibration and at 2800-3300RPM there is what feels to be torque converter shudder, should changing the fluid cure it?

True torque converter shudder only happens at lock-up, so it is speed as well as RPM dependent. If you are getting vibration at those RPMs while accelerating at speeds less than about 55 MPH it isn't torque converter shudder.

 

If you think it is torque converter shudder, then changing the fluid can fix it IF the fluid itself was the problem in the first place.

 

There are several other common driveline vibration inducing problem areas. Basically any place in the driveline where there is a joint of some sort.

Forgot to add that when its shuddering at 2800-3000RPM it's in Drive, not overdrive, so thats about 72MPH in 3rd gear, shouldn't lock up be occuring then?
