Vacation on a cruise ship?

Is a cruise a good way to spend a vacation?

I’ve been on about 30. I traveled a lot with my business. It was a relief to go on a cruise to be taken places . We’re pretty cheap so we got inside cabins. We figured we really going to just sleep there save the money for on shore activity’s. We would go off season usually the week after thanksgiving. We never had a problem with illness you sometimes hear about. We mostly did the dining, not the buffet. Retired I don’t do cruises much now, it does get redundant after awhile. I have more time now so I usually drive now. But for a package deal for a week vacation it’s hard to beat.

As long as it is not on a Disney Cruise Line :uhoh:

Don't ask me how i know that LOL

Yes, i would recommend a cruise. If you have never been on one, i recommend the 4 day 3 night to start with.

+2 on the inner room to save money. Unless you want the "romantic" aspect of a suite or porthole view.

If you use Expedia, you can sort it by price per night. Heck, I can even click "one person" only and I'm seeing 5-day Caribbean for $282 total. I try to keep it up to $90 per night.

If you happen to live on either the east or the west coast, you're in a better position to save more by not spending money on airfare. I live close to L.A. and San Diego so I can check for the best rates.

It took me a few cruises to learn the way around. It deal direct with the cruise line. They email me constantly with deals. I like to gamble some, they send me casino cruises for next to nothing. If you fine you like cruising stay with one line you’ll get perks for that. You can on a list for last minute cruises and get deep discounts.
