Do you have a 2002-2005 GM Truck with a failed Quadrasteer rear steering position sensor?

 

It is not uncommon for water to enter the upper position of the sensor due to bad boots and/or seals defective on steering unit, which will result in a defective unit.

 

We rebuild your unit sent to us.

 

All units remanufactured will be computer tested prior to departing our facility. Testing will be shown in a video on the final bench test. Female crown atop of sensor will be aligned and taped for proper position with steering spline. All units will be aligned and ready for installation.

Notice- Multiple control issues within a faulty sensor code are possible:

• Faulty connection and/or wiring grounds
• Mechanical/damage on spline entering crown of sensor
• Computer malfunction (usually with ROM control)
• Most common- Faulty sensor from water damage (shock from vehicle accident)

 

Important Rear Tires in Neutral Position (straight forward) prior to sensor attachment. Proper synchronization likely necessary with Tech 2 or capable scanner.

i am looking to rewire my quadrasteer so i can have a switch mounted in cab that controls steering. Do you by chance have a wiring diagram for the sierra quadrasteer?

Hello and hope your business is going well! How does the synchronization work exactly with respect to voltage as the rear wheels turn? As you know the planetary gears inside make the swipers go opposite and at separate rates. Is one increasing volts and the other decreasing at different resistant rates?
