Powered subwoofer install

I’m trying to install a powered subwoofer in a 2019 Silverado 1500 crew cab, 8” screen, no Bose system. Are the twisted wires in the picture the rear speaker wires? These run down the passenger side of the truck. Those are the ones I tapped into. The sub is getting power, but no sound.

Not to be a prick, did you really just tap into two wires without even knowing what they are for?? That's a real good way to fry something. 

 

You do not have sound because they are not the speaker wires. I wish I could tell you which wires were the speaker wires but i haven't even started to probe my truck yet. I would suggest popping the rubber boot going into your rear door and see what color wires are present going into the door. The sure fire way would be to remove the door panel then pull the speaker and see what color the wires are.
