I have been holding on to the BBB buy back paperwork on my beautiful Silverado for almost a month now hoping and hoping my Dealer could repair it. After the new front differential was installed it seemed to be noise free and I was so happy. Last night however I noticed the loud cricket sound coming back as I feared might happen after about 500 miles. Since GM now issued the "stop fix" PIP engineering order with no real date as to when they will have a fix ready I feel I have no alternative. :(
