So my tailgate is damaged on my 2019 Denali 1500

I think it'd be tough where it's at for paintless repair and the aluminium is harder to work with than steel. Would still need some paint either a touch up,  a blend in or base coat area of damage and a panel clear. Can't tell if the paint is cracked or not.

I have lost count of the amount of forum posters here who have had their poor trucks bent up by their wives or girlfriends!  With that being that transformer tailgate i can imagine that it will cost a couple grand to replace. I would think claiming that on insurance will run you even more in the long run with increased rates.
