Add foglights and SXM to 2019 LT?

I wouldn't go that route. It's more of a hack and you loose your USB port.

If you have an IOR radio, here's the "factory" way to do it.

You don't lose the usb port as with many trucks, there's two ports, one usb-C and usb-a. And even then you can unplug the VAIS device to use the port, it's never lost, just being used to play your siriusxm content. The infotainment piece is an option if you want to remove your factory tuner and replace it with another unit which I believe has to be coded to the vin. Either solution is fine and the VAIS unit you can change out to another vehicle in the future as about 1 out of 4 new vehicles don't come equipped with SXM any longer. I know you can't do that with the other piece.

If you have an IOR, you don't have the USB-C. Only the USB-A.

Not saying the VAIS is bad; much to the contrary. But if you have an IOR, it seems (to me at least), factory integration would be preferable.

Or, you can just stream XM with your smartphone.

That's what I do, and it also allows for Navigation, Phone calls, text messages, Facebook messenger.

I love the Android Auto/iPhone Auto Play.

Edit: And all the features work very well.

I can get either a Facebook messenger and it will play the message over the radio and if I want to reply, I just speak my message and, it's just spot on.

This way, you have everything really.

Yeap. That's what I'm doing for now as well. Plus, there's extra channels you don't get via satellite.

Thanks for the information

After install of fog lights and programing by the dealer, will the fog light icon on the dash be lit when used?     If not, how do you know the lights are lit when using them during daylight hours?   The switch doesn't appear to have an indicator light [like the cargo bed light switch].  And will they switch off when high beams are used?

Yes. The green fog light indicator on the dash will illuminate when in use.
