People Understand that the lifter noise is actually  a combination of the Active Fuel Mgmt. System and the Valve lifters Rail Train. A defect in those 2 systems is the culprit. GM know it and the dealers know it. All you need is do your research. This problem is exclusive to the 5.3 engine. Gm been knowing since 2000, but no one has held them ACCOUNTABLE. They WILL Play you off. If you let them. The Vacumm pump is junk also, mine been replaced 3 times. Point is, people just Continue to get rammed up the hole and Don't try to do anything about it. I'm moving forward.
Gotta have tough skin. Heck if you posted this on youtube the responses would be way worse.

Flip side I'd be interested in how this turns out.

I am just curious what the alleged damages are...Did the defective product cause some sort of accident or loss? Was there some kind of deceptive marketing tha duped us all? I certainly didn't buy my Sierra because of the AFM feature... Or is it someone just joining the forum a few hours ago and creating this thread because they had to pay for a repair and came on here to complain?

How can he prove anything. No loss of life. How can he prove in Court that he was not out doing burn outs over reving the engine, etc. A GM lawyer would eat this for lunch! I am not defending GM but being realistic here. Put a can of Delco SOS in it and I bet it goes away. When I had the old 454 trucks in the 70's the lifters were always clicking on them. SOS was part of a regular oil change. I guess a should have sued!

You have heard before that if you  got  a problem with Something and Don't take care of it, then you  run the risk of something else happening.  But, just think if it's not your fault. But my case is rock solid. Just thought I'd see if anybody else wanted in. Not trying  to get anybody to do Anything. Plus, I'm not on here to complain. That's what these other people do.

Okay, I'll feed the troll a little more for my own amusement...what exactly are the details of this "rock solid" case? Again I ask, what are your damages? What are you seeking in relief?

Well you run with it Pal! Yes it is the 2000's but I live in the real world!

Have been to court a few times and you don't have to be a genius to know that you are up against it in this fight taking on a Corporate Giant of American Industry. It sounds like you have found a real ambulance chaser for a lawyer.

Why don't you keep us all informed on your success, we will all be waiting with baited breath! Good Luck!

I don't think you know how a class action lawsuit works...The suit is for the class and the details affect everyone in the class. Ipso facto it is not your business; its everyone that is a party to the suit's business. Secondly, "your" legal team becomes the class' legal team. Who are they btw?
