Truck bed sport tent - camping

I am thinking about getting the GM accessory truck bed sport tent. It would be nice sleeping above the ground. Has anyone purchased/used one? If so do you recommend it?

My only apprehension for this is everything will have to be unloaded from the bed prior to setting the tent up. Then you will have to take the tent down every time you want to drive your truck somewhere. But sleeping off the ground for cheap is really attractive...

I have always wanted to get one of these. Right now I sleep under my tonneau cover, which is not bad and pretty comfortable with the my rubber bed mat and self inflating camping pad. but only if its colder out. But if its hot and humid, thats a no go and I sleep on the ground in the tent or with the tonneau open.

I have mostly only camped at music festivals. But I'd much rather have a tent on the ground with an air mattress than have to remove everything from my truck and then disassemble the tent every time you want to drive. But if you are never staying in the same place for 2 nights, I guess it makes more sense then.

But I ditched my tent altogether and made a "camper" out of my 6'x12' enclosed trailer. That was far superior to the tent life. Completely immune to rain and the sun waking me up at 4:30am.....

My buddy uses the same tent when we camp. He enjoys it and you can get 15% - 25% all the time from the company if you sign up for the EMails. Works well if you plan to camp next to your truck on every camping trip.
