There should be other topics similar to this here. But I thought it shouldn't be a bad idea to share copy of my technician's report and the article related to HVAC's After Blow function.

My previous 2014 Silverado LT had this function enabled by default, but the new generation needs to be activated by the dealer.

Ambient air temp is only above 70 here about 3 months a year so I probably wouldn't do me much good.

Brrrr. It's over 70 about 335 days per year here. I need an AC vent under the steering wheel. ?

Thank for for posting this. I have been having an HVAC smell since day one and they want to take a part my dash(start the rattling). I will make an appointment to have this done. I have tried the recommended Ozium and disconnecting the low pressure sensor and running the fan at full heat for 20 mins.
