Recently I noticed my navigation not working in my 2016 Sierra Denali. The GPS has a red X over it. I have done some research and most people are saying the green onstar light on the rearview mirror turned red when they had an issue. Mine is still lit green but no GPS signal. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a fix?

Ok thanks for the help. I'm assuming that's just replacing the shark fin? Do you recall the cost?

Mine happened less than a month after buying the truck and was replaced under warranty and that was about 4 years ago.

you would need the painted one since you have a Denali.

Mine has done it a few times. I could fix mine by using the my Chevrolet app and sending a navigation destination to the truck. It download what was sent and It would clear the red x and start working fine.

How did you use the Chevrolet app? I don't know how to get that? NOT tech savy. ?

My 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali is having multiple issues. It randomly loses the nav points & paired phones I store can't find my thumb drive with my music on it.

Is there a replaceable battery for it to retain stored Data? If so how do you replace it. It is also randomly giving me error messages about the error with the driver assistance system.  I said something to the service manager @

Joe ball gmc said to not cancel the error message and bring it in so they can see what the error code is. When I attempted to do just that they couldn't be bothered with it. Shutting the vehicle down clears said message. Really unhappy with the way they treated me.  For the most part its the radar censors in the front bumper that act up when it's very cold or going through a car wash

I have a 2015 Silverado XLT and had my antenna replaced by my dealership a few years because I lost my XM signal. Now, I notice that I have CAL showing in my DIC and a red X through GPS in my map screen. I also have no red or green light on On-Star mirror. My map does not show my true location.
