35s fit on leveled Sierra, kinda.

I put ridge grappler 315/70r17 on my leveled Sierra and had to trim a a lot more. Not sure if it’s because of the wheel size. On the drivers side I will slightly rub the frame if I hit a bump at the right angle and speed.

Are you just running a leveling kit? How does your truck handle the weight of the tires? Are you 5.3 or 6.2? Also what is your wheel width and backspace?

Yes, it has a 2” upper strut level. It handles awesome. I honestly haven’t really noticed much of anything with the weight. I think I’m hovering around 18 mpg combined highway and around town.  It’s the 5.3, plenty on power for everything I do. Wheels are 17x9 with a -12 offset

Looks really good. I’ve been trying to decide on either the 4” or 6” BDS with coil overs. I’m not a fan of making the truck higher than I have to. You’re running the exact tires I want to run. I’m in an SLT with a 6.2 10spd. Thinking about 20x9 or 22x10 with about the same offset.

Why’d you decide on 17” wheels? It looks awesome

With a 4” lift you probably wouldn’t need to do any trimming. I’m not positive, but I’ve also heard the Chevy has more wheel well space, so things should fit better.

I went with the 17 because I like the off-road Baja style look better. Everyone around me has 20’s so this was something a little different.

Makes sense! I like it man. Mines a GMC too, hard to find any running less than a 6” lift & 35s. Either a level or 4” lift and 35s is almost impossible to find. Appreciate the info

I really debated going with a 4” so I could handle 35’s. I might be able to make them work with a skinnier tire. I don’t feel like a 4” is too big if it’s not an at4.
I also looked into the BajaKits pre- runner kit that would allow 35’s to fit just fine

I'm running nitto 35x12.5 22 on stock 22inch wheels. Has a 2.5 inch level on it. Had to remove mud flaps completely after trying trimming them, zip tie back the liner, and do a norcal mod. At full lock the lugs on the side of the tire will still rub the sway bar.

Picked up my Sierra last week, so decided to see what we could fit on it today. Installed the rough country 2” level  and a set of fuel gripper m/t’s In a 35x12.50. After some trimming of mud flaps, removing bracket behind fender liner, and tying the fender liner back. Rubbing is gone. So if you’re not scared to trim some plastic it can be done. I think it looks good, let me know what you think. I knew worked on at4, couldn’t find anyone to confirm if would fit a standard level.

Do you think they would clear with a 2” level and 1.5” drop shackles?
