2019 Rear Seat Floor Storage

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have the all-weather OEM mats (standard on the Z71 packages) that provide total coverage? My RST came with them (they are excellent!), but I noticed that the fabric storage area under the seat was missing. I read somewhere that the all-weather mats do not work with this, which would explain why mine are missing.

Anyone have the all-weather mats, and still have the carpeted storage space under the seats? I wish the dealer would have given me the one they took out. It would have been a nice addition of space, even if just to keep things from rolling around under the seat.

Seems possible to have both, as this TFL review truck had on a Z71 RST: Chevy-Silverado-RST-RInt.jpg

The floor mats come for full length, but are designed to be cut to work with the under seat storage

Seems from the pic above that they could go UNDER the carpeted storage part, though?

I have those rubber mats and the carpeted storage in my TB.  The mats go under the storage.  The dealer had to take the storage out, put the mats in then put the storage back in.

My liners are cut, but I think I’m glad they are. It’s nice that they go in and out easily for cleaning. It seems like it would be harder if they were under the storage box, but I’m not sure.

Although they’re going to need modded again in a few days probably when my new subwoofer box goes in in place of the storage box.

There is a wingnut in in side and a bolt for the jack on the other side that either end of the mat goes through. Yes, to take out and clean is a pain in the arse. I'm gonna cut mine the next time I have to take them out.

That's strange, my box looks completely different than this. It has two compartments, not one big compartment, and houses a tire jack. It also has two lids (smaller left and larger right) so I have to open the bottom of the seat then open the lid of the storage compartment.

You have the GM accessory one, it can be ordered with the truck or after the fact. The carpeted one shown in the pics is standard on RST & up...

Actually, on my window sticker, it said that it has the optional rear seat tray.. $225.. and that it's "dealer-installed" - I have the RST.

I know, that’s the GM accessory one you have, like I said.

If you didn’t have that option, you’d have the carpeted one in the photos above, because that’s standard on the RST. I thought that was the source of your confusion.
