Anyone removed the "Trail Boss" decal from their truck?

What did you pay for the coating? I’m wanting to get it done to my TB as well.

Cost me $650 for stage 1 correction, polish, and ceramic coating w/3 years of protection. Has it done a week after buying as black paint can be pain to maintain.

Do they reapply? I have read it’s hard to predict the length of life of the ceramic coating.

Depends. I've used the same installer on 4 vehicles over the years and should I have an issue he takes care of it. The coating should last 3 years but it's tough to say for sure. If anything goes wrong inside of a year then I'm definitely covered. Anything over 2 years, we'll see. Also, I have to get the coating inspected once a year.

To each their own but like I mentioned before, most of the time I like it debadged but for some reason the white looks too plain. Other ones on here looks pretty good without it. Here’s my custom decal since I think the OEM looked cheap. Like it so far but I’ll see how long I’ll keep it.

Not yet. There’s one in the grill that I haven’t figured out how to remove it. Maybe after I get new wheels and tires, I might remove the Z71 badges on the fenders
I removed my z71 badges last weekend. What a train wreck. Warmed it up but instead of tape coming off truck the badges came off and left all the tape on the truck. I then spent probably 5 hours with soap, sponge and alternating with goo be gone till I couldn't feel my fingertips anymore. There was also a chip in the paint under the badge. So then I had to touch that up. Now I can see the paint chip. Think I might buy new badges to put back on to cover up the paint chip. And honestly I didn't really think it looked all that better without the badges. They are coming out with black z71 badges for the new Carhartt edition trim so might try to get a set of those.

A little off topic, but I’m thinking about taking the GMC letters and the Sierra badge off my tailgate.  Not sure what I can do about the front grill, but I just want my truck to be a Denali.

Though, looking at some of these “clean” Chevy’s makes me think of getting rid of everything.  I think the one thing I’d have trouble with is the engine size badge on the front fenders.  I know they can be taken off, but obviously, there’s an indentation in the GMC’s that the Chevy’s don’t have there.

And there are holes in the fender.
