Costco's auto sales program is growing at a double-digit rate, while most traditional car dealerships are seeing growth of under 1% over the past year. The largest Limited-Time Special held last year was the Holiday Sales Event with General Motors yielding strong results with a 22 percent increase above 2017 sales. SUV are the top-performing segment overall for both the everyday program and the Holiday Sales Event with GM. During the Costco Holiday Sales Event, SUVs represented 47 percent of unit sales, followed by trucks at 37 percent.

Rick Borg, Costco's Executive Vice President, Program Operations, told us, "GM truck shoppers choose Costco Auto Program due to the no-hassle savings they receive from their Costco member price. When combined with factory incentives they qualify to receive, they get an even greater value." He went on to add that Costco's streamlined process helps make buying easy. He said, "Once a member submits a vehicle request at CostcoAuto.com, or through our call center, we connect them to dedicated, trained and certified contacts at the Approved Dealership who deliver exceptional service. To help Costco members buy and save with confidence, our Costco Auto Program Member Advocates provide support before, during and after their purchase."

Costco doesn't just sell GM trucks during the holidays. If you need a truck now check out the deals at Costco's truck page . If you bought your GM truck from Costco, tell other members about the experience in the comments below.

I just bought my 2019 GMC Sierra Denali through the Costco program and it could not be easier. It was the only way I could get any kind of deal in the Ohio area other than same rebates everyone else gets. Laura Buick GMC outside St Louis in IL has great deals and can beat Costco but I get free oil & filter change plus free tire rotate and balance for life through dealership 6 miles from my house that honors Costco deal which Laura does not. The local dealer gave me Costco deal that saved $4,000 plus rebates at the time which were at $3500 total, then agreed to match Laura price, so total price savings was just over $8,000. Costco deal adds 50% off first $400 ($200 max value) in accessories, parts or service within first 6 months, then 15% off everything over the first $400 (dealer gives 10% off for life if you buy vehicle there). Also got another $100 off any accessory with no minimum purchase through a "Shop-Click-Drive" online bonus with the dealership if you purchase vehicle there by 5/30/19. And of course with free MyGMRewards.com account I got 2,000 points for signing up and another 20,000 points for purchasing a vehicle to get a grand total of 22,000 points (worth $110.00) off on any parts, service or accessories. So that's $410.00 off any parts, service or accessories along with another 15% off for 6 months then 10% off after that. I plan to buy a nice Tonneau cover and a couple of other items right away. Here is picture taken day truck arrived and right before I drove it off the lot. Yes, I'm a little proud but gosh darnit I deserved it, besides what good is it if I can't show it off a little here and there, lol. Peace to my truck lovin' brothers and sisters.

I guess it's good for people that can't or refuse to negotiate, but I think I saved 4-5k over the Costco price when I bought my Camaro. And you have that great "I defeated the lairs" feeling when you drive off. Just have to be will be willing to go to multiple dealers

Shopped around for about 2 weeks before I bought mine through Costco as well.. had a buddy who works at another dealer try to get his buddy at a Chevy lot to 'hook me up', but he couldn't touch the deal Costco was giving me through the dealership I was going through. Called multiple dealers and some didn't even bother to try and beat my current deal... :tumbleweed:

Got exactly the truck I wanted(options/trim), saved about 10K+ off MSRP, 50% off up to $500 accessories, dealer cost on bedliner. then paid it off in 2/months.. :driving:
