Are torque converters universal for the 4L60e transmission

I have a 2002 Chevy k1500 Tahoe. The transmission runs good for a while, but once it really heats up it begins to slip. I went to a salvage yard but they gave me a trans with a stamp “GMPT” on the side. I was under the assumption it needed to be a 4L60E stamp instead. From what I’ve gathered online the torque converters are different in these 2 models and can’t be interchanged. If anybody can enlighten me please do. I’ve yet to pull the trans on of the Tahoe. Would like to have a plan to drop and replace all at once
