We race a boosted car on E85, greatest thing since sliced bread, but on a stock non boosted vehicle totally worthless...

Not necessarily,  You get the benefit of better performance since timing can advance due to higher octane, also it burns cleaner and keeps the inside cleaner.  Of all the used oil analysis I have seen, when E15 and up is used the analysis looks better.

Also depending on the price difference from regular to E85 it can be a break even on cost or even less.

High compression non "boosted" engines love E85, so it's not worthless even if it's stock. Try running a 13 or 14:1 engine to the moon for long periods of time on crappy 91 or 93 octane, it won't last. Run it on 110 race gas for $15 a gallon or pump E85 for probably 1/5th that, I think I know what most will do.

Been putting the parts together to allow my truck to run E85.  I want to use as many original GM parts as possible.  I am not going to replace the line from the Flex Fuel Sensor to the Engine, instead I will Cut, Bend and Flare the original line and it should look factory.  I have my HP tuners ready to go with the E85 settings identified.   On the Regular Cab I did identify a unique part number for the Fuel Filler Hose, so I will be replacing that as well.

Here is the complete list of numbers for the V8 model I have identified, including the line I will not be replacing.

23171537 - Engine Fuel Line - for V8

23171534 - Flex Fuel Sensor Rear line

23171535 - Flex Fuel Sensor Front line

23212447 - e85 filler hose

13577429 - Flex Fuel Sensor

20967866 - Flex fuel Sensor Clip

GT359 - Flex Fuel Cap

Is this for a 2017, I don't have a fuel cap?
