LED Turn Signal bulbs

Recommended Posts

Has anyone replaced the front halogen turn signal bulbs on their 19's yet?  I've replaced the backup and license plate halogens with LED's already, but I'm wondering about the front turn signals and if resistors would be necessary to avoid the hyper flash.

I believe the rear lights are LED already so do you think the computer would complain if LED's were added to the front without the resistors?

They are on High Country and SLT & Up Sierra. The rest of us have to make do with the dumb little bulb down there.

I’m 99% sure swapping it to LED without a load resistor would cause hyper-flash but haven’t had a chance to try it yet.

I tried with some inexspensive bulbs from Ebay for my 2021 RST and I experianced Hyper Flash after 3 cycles and got a error message on the DIC.  heres the ones I tried so dont waste your $

Get the Lasfits. I used them for a couple years, no issues.

2020 LT Trail Boss has halogens for the backup, front turn signal and license plate lights.  I replaced them all with these.  4 months with no issues so far.  The backup lights are freaking amazing.  SUPER bright.

I have the Lasfits. Seem to be working fine. Attached pic of stock (passenger side) versus Lasfit doesn't do them justice. No hyper flash, I believe they have the resistor (or some sort of magic) built in. Have had to add resistor to wiring in the past. Much nicer to have it right in the bulb.

Try the backup/reverse bulbs.  They are amazing!
