Max RPM

Since the tach in my truck has no redline, whats the max safe rpm for my `03 5.3?

Will the rev limiter kick in before it`s reached?

5600 is cut-off. 5550 is resume. Thats stock anyways. I kicked my rev limiter up to 6200. But my shifts are at around 5800-5900. The 5.3 with a stock cam pretty much stops making power around 5000-5200 anyways. Top line of the DynoJet graph is with the stock cam. Bottom line is with a Comp 215/215 114lsa. Kicks out the HP all the way up to 6200.

I made a couple full throttle runs today and it shifts around 5400. According to your data, holding past that point would be useless so it`s pretty much a stand on it and hang on proposition.
