You get a module in which plugs in to a hardness under the dash. You first plug the module in to your PC and answer the question about stock tires and new tire size, hit program, and you're done. It's not more than a 2 minute process. The harness is easily accessible under the dash and installing that will take less than 5 minutes and nothing needs to be dissembled.

Awesome. That’s exactly what I needed to know. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna order one of these soon. Thanks bud!

I have a 2019 Sierra Elevation.

Originally came with 275/60R20 tires.

Truck was a manager’s demo and they replaced the tires with 275/65R20’s.

Going from 60-65 aspect ratio is apparently a 1” difference, using a tire size calculator.  Besides the slight speedometer change would anything be affected or damaged over time running a slightly larger tire?  I can live with the speedo being slightly out but worry about it affecting other things such as ABS, axles and transfer case.

Also looking at getting a second set of winter wheels and tires, perhaps going with a 17 or 18 wheel.  Again this would probably end up being a reduced diameter overall.

These trucks come with an assortment of wheel and tire sizes.

I’m guessing they calibrate the speedo at the factory based on what the truck is ordered with?

For those who have the hypertech in line speedometer calibration  how do you like it?  Where did you order it from?

Im on hupertechs website and they have it priced at $230?

Also so when you put your info in. It has a option. 5.3 V8 Gas (D) or 5.3 V8 Gas (F).  How do I know which one I am lol?

If if I go with the (F) it doesn’t show a calibration available, but if I choose (D) it has one available.

Sorry if if this is confusing

Great...the 8th character on my 2016 5.3 with six speed is "C".  So this must only apply to 2019 and newer.  My 2019 6.2 8th is an "L", which is listed.

I also read somewhere that someone said their truck magically no longer does the auto stop/start with this installed.  Can anyone confirm that?

I currently have a 2019 Silverado with a 6.2 L and I have the hyper Tech installed my auto start and stop is still active. Only one hiccup so far with speedometer changing speed. Hypertech is working to resolve this issue.

I have this on my 2019 Trail Boss with non-factory tires.  I only had to adjust approximately 3.5% but it has improved transmission performance the speedo is now matched perfectly to GPS and gas mileage is more accurate.

I bought this, did not work for me. I removed it and did it again, still did not work. I spoke with customer service they told me to "fiddle with the numbers". LOL, how about making it work the way it should?

I have not "fiddled" yet.

LMAO, now that's customer service.  That sucks that the dam thing doesn't work.

Has anyone had issues with this. I installed this and it corrected the speed but now my remote start no longer works. As soon as I pull it out my remote starter works again. Wondering if anyone else has this issue.
