Cold Air Intake for 2003 4.8L

I've got a 2003 4.8L coming in and was wanting opinions on who has the best cold air intake for one, and where would be the best place to order one from. Thanks.

From what I've seen, you need the stock throttle body. Here's what one of your links said:

I have heard good things about the AEM Brute Force. They claim a gain at all RPM's not just the topend like the K&N kit.

I got the Volant and cool air tube. I had the same problem as others with the tube, makes the wheel well rub the tire. Didn't really see much of a difference, but maybe I need a computer tune/Westers...

I went with the K&N Generation II. Added a nice sound to the truck, and can notice a difference in its torque.

I run the Volant on my 4.8L and really noticed an improvement in power and overall performance. Did not do too much for gas mileage but it definitely did not hurt it, either.

The offer of one for $250 is not a bad price, TTT.

K&N FIPK POS IMO. Difficult to seal at throttle body. Hood seal has gaps. You'll be sucking in hot, engine bay air. See my post on Vendor products forum.

I have the K&N FIPK, but if I could do it all over again I would buy the Volant because of the optional ram air scoop that goes underneath and it looks good at that.
