Why don’t I have this feature? Maybe because of power running boards?

Yeah,  mine is where your running board switch is.

I could see using it in the summer once in awhile but mainly it’s a space filler. I must say if that switch was blank I wouldn’t have bought the truck, I hate blank switches especially at these prices. They really should also put it on the lower trims to fill some of those blanks. The K2s were better because they didn’t use blanks down there like that. -End rant.

Is this potentially only in the Chevy and not the GMC?

No, the Sierra SLT gets this feature with the Premium Plus package. On the AT4 and Denali, that switch slot instead is occupied by the hill decent control (and split with power running boards if equipped)...

I like the feature but why not have it auto up all at one time as well ?

Thank goodness I'm not alone in thinking this!!!!!

On a side note.  I can tell you for 100% certain that these windows will not let you close yourself in them.  They will current out and roll back down to keep from injuring the occupant.
