Am I the only one who only wants a jump seat in my truck?

The "Bench" seat trucks have the same bucket seats as the console trucks. All thats different is the middle Seat/Console. So unless the comfort comes from having a different arm rest, i dont quite see how you  can feel a difference.

i dont know what to say, but my wife and I both noticed a huge difference in comfort between the two.

Mbcorry - I'm in the same boat, did you manage to find a trailboss with bench and leather? I couldn't.  ended up ordering an at4 and plan on swapping the console out with a "booster" from an sle.

Did the booster match?  is it Vinyl or leather? How did you find/buy the booster? Does it have the rear vents, usb ports, and seat warmer buttons which are found on the AT4 console? Pretty simple swap or were there challenges?

I did the LTZ with leather and a jump seat and love it!

I too am looking for a leather "bench", but am struggling.  We really want the premium tech camera package with all the views, along with a few other features, but it seems impossible to order, let alone find locally. They can't seem to order it on the LTZ with the Camera options, maybe it was only available on the 2019?

I don't want bucket seats in my new truck. I understand that there are a lot of electronics built into the console so many of the advanced features in 2021 will not be available to me.  I would though be willing to have a custom shop move the electronics and install a bench seat - I hate buckets in a truck that much.

Right now what is really frustrating is that it is difficult to see what the highest trim level you can get that does not have bucket seats in front.

Not only that, with my last Silverado I had the bench seats, but the dashboard still dipped down in the middle so made the knee room for someone in the center pretty meager.

2021 SLT with no interior options/packages is the highest you can go. On the Chevy side, the LTZ now includes buckets as standard for 2021, so the RST is the highest trim level with a jump seat.

Swapped in a center console in my RST. The jump seat storage wasn’t enough for me and the arm rest wasn’t as comfortable. I traded a guy who wanted the jump seat so it was good for both of us. I think it should be a standalone option on all trims.

I also have the "flip up folding middle seat" (or whatever it's called). It was difficult to find, especially in leather, but I'm glad I got it. I like the extra leg room, and can put crap on the transmission hump between the passenger and myself.

Now, if Chevy could just make a decent cup holder, ford does it right with the "remove for larger drink".

In my opinion the jump seat is to small for an adult to be comfortable for any length of time, not to mention you would be shoulder to shoulder with that person. That leaves a kid or a pet..... Kids shouldn't be in the front with an air bag....

So console it is for me with lots more shoulder room, and no adults sitting next to me! They other people can drive their own car if there is that many people going to the same place,

I don't need to be their chauffeur.

This is a bench seat and I'd give eye teeth for one in my Silverado.

A full grow adult can sleep on this.

Wife or girlfriend...what....nobody's girl ever sat next to them?

I prefer the center console because I use the armrest while driving. Anybody in the center will get in the way, and makes me uncomfortable while driving. A small armrest would be sufficient, but only if some cutie in a white tank top and jeans or a short sun dress is next to me. Since that's not going to happen anytime soon, the size of the center console that's currently in my truck is perfect.
