No Sunglass compartment in overhead console...

Although I do miss most of the items listed above (maybe not the adjustable peddles though) but I think the thing I miss the most is the storage compartment just under the door armrest. Used that little compartment a lot in my 14 and 16. That being said I do think the list of new items off-set the losing of most of the other things although now that I think of it I did kinda like having an "OH SH!T" handle to grab onto on occasion.

Bill, I agree.  The Silverado has plenty of overhead space to place a simple sunglass holder and garage remote control buttons.  I’ve got an RST as well, and I wish these were there.  I don’t understand why Chevy Tahoe LT and above  carries these features but absolutely “nada” in any of the 2019 Silverado trims.  There is more overhead ceiling space in my Silverado than in my 2018 Tahoe, yet my Tahoe has both a sunglass holder and a garage door opener, (and an extra kiddy-view mirror). (See pics)

To compensate for these lack of features, I clip on a typical garage door remote (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CAB9FEO/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on my driver side overhead visor, as well as a clip-on sunglass holder (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078SNNWKB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on the same visor.  (It’s like my vehicle is from the 1980s!!!) (see pic). This all works ok, but it’s a pain when I have to move my visor, especially when I detach it to place it next to the driver side door window, and then try to put it back in place again.

For a $50,000 truck these features should be standard. (Just like in the Chevy Tahoe LT) (See pics)

Have you or anyone else found a better after market solution?  An after market center place overhead sunglass holder and garage door opener?  (So I can free up my overburdened “1980’s-like” visor...)
