4x4 shifter not shifting properly

Ok I got the bodylift installed tonight, only problem I need to lengthen the 4x4 linkage. Because: 2HI is (4HI), N (2HI) and in between neutral and 2LO is the real neutral then 2LO is 2LO.Do you get it............ So I need to make the linkage longer but they did not supply the extra piece! Would any of you guys know the proper length if that piece? Thanks

I'm not sure what to tell you, but I know some others have installed a body lift with a floor shifter and didn't use an extension, and didn't have any problems either.

Try to contact chevy4x4trucks, here at GM-TC, he's one that installed a B/L on a floor shifter truck.

Sorry I wasn't any more help than that.

You might be able to adjust it. Re read your directions that came with the BL to see if you didnt accidently miss anything. When we did a BL on my friends '95 it said to loosen the bolts on the linkage and then we had to adjust and retighten them at the end. He has had no problems with it.
