2010 Silverado 5.3 rebuild

I am gathering information regarding suggestions for rebuilding the engine in my 2010 silverado with 5.3.

This truck is used for daily driving and towing my boat which weighs 7,200 pounds. I am currently at 260,000 miles on the original engine the trans went out at 230,000 due to a Torque Converter failure, rear end and front spindles are factory. This truck looks and drives like it was brand new so I do not want to purchase a new truck.

I will be deleting the AFM. What cam and lifters do you suggest? Do I keep the VVT? What valve springs do you suggest? Do I need to update the rocker arms? What pistons should I use?

Thanks for the help.
