TByrne/Vararam VR Velocity Stack for LS1 trucks

I've noticed you carry Vararam products for the C5, how good is the VR Velocity Stack for the 4.8/5.3/6.0 trucks?

At first I thought it to be very pricey $49.95 + $9.95 shipping, but after looking at the "air foil" for the TPI's the price is the same for the same type product. Although that's not really saying that this type of product is worth $50, maybe closer to $30.

If you trust backing Vararam's claims on this product, how do we order from you? How about a GP to get the product going?

I have recieved one from them and will be doing a dyno test on it with a stock T/B vs a ported one. Once I run the result by them, I'll post results. Very friendly to deal with so far.

I try not to be so biased on new products. Unless it's an electric supercharger, but that's another story. I have learned that the same mods responed differently depending on how each individual truck is set up. No, it's not a night and day difference in most cases, but if it does compare to a ported T/B, it may be worth it for some guys on a smaller buget. A ported T/B can run anywhere from $75 to $150, with this product coming in at $50 +/- it may be a good compromise. I plan 3 pulls, one with the ported T/B, one with a stock T/B and one with the Varam product.

I've read all the info they have and talked to the owner of VaraRam. He has been very happy with the results of this product. It's not going to show you a big horsepower gain in the upper RPMs. It will mainly provide horsepower and torque gains "under the curve" (low to mid range). This is where the truck spends most of it's time so it's an RPM range that most people would like to see a horsepower/torque gain.
