No reason to remove the grill I can see where it’s already contacting the brace but not leaking...yet. Pretty disappointing that they put a piece of foam in expectations that would fix it, and it probably would be OK until the warranty runs out.  All they would have had to do is create a small notch in that support bracket (But there’s no way I would attempt it now). So I’m going to go ahead and order the bracket.
