Just adding that I ordered my center console upgrade per Jeffed's part number and it should arrive in a week. Paid $355 with tax. Will update once it arrives.

Ok...got the arm rest in and it is the correct item. Thanks Jeffed.

Also talked to my Rockwall Texas Chevy dealer...they are going to put these in all the customs now as an easy addition.

Wanted to thank everyone for the solution to the NO STORAGE CENTER CONSOLE issue on the new 2019 Trail Boss Custom.  The change over to the new top part (arm rest) of the console with the storage took about an 1 1/2 and wasn't difficult.  The only issue issue I had was the retaining clips that hold the 2 side panels on the arm rest need to be removed and transferred over to the new one and when pulling them off the clips stay in the armrest and bend the locking tabs.  Others have mentioned buying new clips and I would agree with that.  If you don't want to visit the dealer, any auto parts store, Advance, OReilly's etc. carry ones that work just fine, Dorman part number 963-211D.  Even though none of the websites show an image of the new armrest with storage, the part number given by others (84647286) was correct and the color and look match perfectly to the old one.

So again, thanks for posting the solution and the pdf parts diagram helped a lot.

No I wish I had you unbolt the seat but you don’t need to remove it all the way.  Then remove the plastic around the console to remove two bolts then one on the other side and a small one then swap out and put back together.  Remember  to get the extra clips you will need them.  If you start the swap and don’t have them you will get mad at your self so just buy them you will see.

anybody know for sure if this will work on the standard Custom model, not just the trailboss?  Just picked mine up last week and the lack of center console storage is mind boggling, but I want to be sure its the same part before I take the plunge
