Throttle Controller opinions

I just got the Pedal Commander second hand off ebay (its new in box) for $160.

I installed it and put it on sport mode and wow what a difference.

No it doesn't add HP but lets you use the trucks HP sooner if that makes sense.

There is def use for this and cant really understand until you use one. This is many levels above the paint stick trick i had done last year.

it's on my list  of parts, after i get the 6.2 manifold and Throttle body, and a rear sway bar. this truck is gonna drive like a sporty sedan when I'm done with it...

i'm really curious as to how it will behave with the big Throttle body and the pedal Commander...

You should make it your next part to get, that way you can enjoy it while youre getting the other parts together.

Look for used ones on ebay. PC65 is the model number, works for few other platforms, not just GMC Sierra or Silverado. 2007 - 2018

To me the Sprint Booster provides a lot more control. It doesn't up the horsepower but it makes it feel like a whole different truck. I saw some good reviews on other forums and i came across SprintBoosterSales.com "most popular" models for Sprint Boosters and I saw Chevy Silverado was listed on it. Gave it a try because of the 30 day money back guarantee and i'm very happy with it.

I know a lot of people think it's BS mod but don't knock it until you try it. It is definitely fun to have.

I have the vitesse version of this, it's a lot cheaper but it works. Definitely makes a difference with how responsive the gas pedal is and they have great customer service. It also won't void your warranty, I brought my truck in twice and they didn't say anything. I did uninstall it before I brought it in tho.

I've got that one too.  Coupled it with the updated gas pedal and now my truck gets up and goes.

Yeah there's other pedal boosters nowadays. Of course that's going to happen when something that works can be copied. Sprint Booster was the original throttle booster for over a decade. There's reviews of Sprint Booster back in 2006 and they won multiple SEMA awards. SprintBoosterSales.com was their first distributor. Probably why they're labeled as "USA's Leader of Sprint Booster Products"

I received the Vitesse Throttle Contoler (TC) today. While I was down there I also braced the backing plate that the pedal is attached to. The bracing did help the remove the flex in the pedal, but the TC definitely reduced the throttle lag and has increased the responsiveness. As of now I have it is SP3 (Sport level 3). I would recommend this to the people that want change the way the accelerates.

I have the pedal commander in my truck. It doesn’t add any HP but is the best thing for the money! 5 min to install and changes the feel of the truck soooo much. You never realize how much lag you pedal actually has till you have this. Anyone that says otherwise has just never felt one installed. My truck breaks the tires loose by barely touching the pedal in sport 2. I got the blue tooth version so It’s completely hidden up behind my dash and is changed on the fly with my phone.

It doesn't affect lag (which, by definition, is the time between when you hit the go pedal, and the truck responds).  It ONLY means you don't have to press the pedal as much to get the same response.
