AVS Aeroskin Bug deflector

Recommended Posts

Anyone know if its ok to install these when its cold out? Got one for Xmas, been putting off installing it because of the cold temp outside. I have a garage but its not heated. I'd prefer to get it on sooner, rather than later, but unsure about the cold install

No color match option for mine :uhoh: Cajun Red Tintcoat.  Not sure which color I'm gonna go with.  Gott wait until it warms up here first.

I put the chrome aeroskin on my last two 2500s.  Absolutely love them.

Above 50 at least.  I'd recommend 60 or better.

I know it’s not a Silverado but the fit and color match is very good, doesn’t do squat for bugs lol.

I love that color - absolutely beautiful! I know this will do nothing for bugs and that is fine with me, but do you notice any protection from other road elements like pebbles? I do not know if you could notice a chip or some kind of mark on the Aeroskin to indicate it got hit instead of the hood.

Thank you and yes, I actually have a chip that I fixed with my touch-up pen. The deflector is a dark color under the paint so it was easy to see, just took my touch-up pen to it and it's hard to see even when you know where it is.
