I wonder if you paint yourself with OEM match rattle can? You think it would look bad?

I have a 14 HC at my office and it has the chrome OEM door strips on it, I measured the doors on the 14 and then my 19 doors and the doors are about 1/2" wider, both front and rear on my 19. I'm thinking the GMC molding would be the same as the HC? So that means they would be a little short? Thoughts?

Well, I called my local body shop that does a lot of work for my company and had them order the GM chrome body side molding from a 14 HC, they should be installing them next week, will post pictures when they are on the truck.

I ordered my molding last Friday so I hope it will com in next week. I will post when I get it on.

Can someone provide detail for install measurements? Wanting to install these and would like to make sure they are installed not too high and not too low. Thanks
