Air bag inflation valve location

Recommended Posts

You guys ever have an issue with the airbags leaking? I just installed mine today, kind of challenge, I'll post pics later but was wondering if these things have issues with slow leaks.

I have not, i installed in November, and check them weekly. I keep them at 7PSI and on real cold days they’ll be down to 5. I would crank them up to 70 and do a 24 hr check. If they decrease more than 4-5psi you may have a leak. No issues here.

Mine's loaded down pretty good with tools and a fiberglass top. I needed to bring mine back up an inch or an inch and a half to get to level. 30 lbs puts it exactly where I like it, about a half inch high in the back. If I have to inflate these things every other day, I'm definitely getting an on board compressor.

My last tow trip was 700lb tongue weight plus a bed full of track gear, set on a Friday and returned the following Friday. It fluctuated between 47-50 when i had them set to 50 just like tires.

That’s great. I’ve never had a leak.
