LED Headlights

Recommended Posts

As my wife and I drove home one evening over the Thanksgiving Holiday we noticed how bad the headlights were in our 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD. I had wanted to replace the whole headlight assembly. After some discussion, my wife talked me into just replacing just the bulbs first. After some research, I found that to be a much wiser option at this time. So, during the Christmas Holiday I purchased a set of these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H4GFS8F/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I received them after Christmas and installed them. They were not difficult to install at all and only took me less than 30 minutes total. As long as you orient them correctly, the display pattern will not blind oncoming drivers. They are much brighter and you can see much farther than the standard halogen bulbs. These particular ones come with a 3-year warranty. So far, I am pleased and like them very much. Since we do not drive this truck very often, they should last a long time. Only time will tell. So far, I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a reasonably priced upgrade.

Very nice. I had a pair of eBay led bulbs in my truck and they worked for about a year and half. 1 of them started to flicker and change color and then it went out. I put halogen bulbs back in it and now one of those went out. So I’m going to buy a set of his bulbs for ballasts I already have and put them in. I have led fog lights and they are great and super bright

It is a big difference. I can see in the dark much better now. It also does not appear to blind the oncoming drivers. I am considering upgrading my other vehicles when the current bulbs require replacing.
